Importance of Morality

We Are All Born Innately Good

Humans are born innocent. This doesn't mean evil is nonexistent. Who would think that a baby could be evil? Even so, the words "evil" and "baby" shouldn't even be in the same sentence. Babies are clueless and brought into this world to learn.  Children do not know how to depict from "right" or "wrong". Human are not born with morals but parents and teacher teach them about it. They unknowingly learn from adults. I learn everyday and so do you. Life is an endless spree of learning; it is infinite. 

Like anybody else, you must've observed that everyone has morals. I have my own from my parents and grandparents. For instance, my parents taught me to"keep my hands to myself". Everyone has likely encountered the saying "treat others how you want to be treated" 

Everyone was innocent or still is innocent. Even criminals! Yes, even people that commit inherently wrong acts were once innocent. I'm positive criminals have their morals still. In the midst of their impulsive evil acts, they must have lost touch with their long-possessed morals.  For example, in the play,  Macbeth, the tragic hero's ceaseless ambition engulfed his morality. He lost his sense of morality and killed people for a prestigious position. His blind ambition ultimately led to his downfall and death. 
There are self-morals and there are society morals. This long controversial saying "boys shouldn't hit girls" is still spurring conversations everywhere. Although I agree with this moral of society,  watch this heart-warming video below.

Did you finish the video? Did it bring out your inner compassionate soul? First, these adorable boys all stated what they wanted to be in the future and why. They already have ambition at such an early age. Next, an exquisite young girl appears. The interviewer questioned the boy what they like about the girl. They answer with much bashfulness. But here comes the good part, the interview demands the boys to slap the girl. However, they refuse and reply with moral reasons. "Because I am a man" one of them said. Seems like these boys were raised by people who taught them girls shouldn't get hit. 

We all have a variety of morals. We have dreams and ambitions but it is vital that we never lose clutch of morality.
