It's an innate thing to pass.
You're born.
You're living your life.
And then you die.
You learn a thing or two about living and then suddenly, in the blink of an eye, it's over. What they never teach you though, is how to deal with losing someone. There's
You'll go to school. You'll figure out what to do with your life. You'll make countless mistakes. You'll fall in love, maybe get married. You'll lose someone and it'll feel like the end of the world. You'll live your entire life wishing that everyone that comes into it, won't leave like the last.
You'll spend a significant amount of time over-analyzing what you did wrong to push them away. You'll wonder what you can do to get them back. You'll stick out your neck to show them how much you need them, making yourself completely vulnerable to someone or something that might not even come back to you.
But maybe some people just aren't meant to be in our lives forever. Maybe some people are just passing through. It's like some people just come through our lives to bring us something; a gift, a blessing, a lesson we need to learn. And that's why they're here. Perhaps it's better that whoever comes into your life and leaves, is just better off a memory. People can be selective of the things they remember. For better or for worse, the reminiscent feelings of the past may be the only thing good for your well-being.
You'll live your life. You'll keep a hold of those memories inside your dear heart forever. No matter what painful or exhilarating impression it leaves on you, it's the only thing you have left to make you feel something. When you hold onto those memories, they'll become stories. Those stories will someday become something so much greater than you will ever expect.
